Josue "Joe" Luna (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Josue Luna “Joe”, 62, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Tulia. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 28, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Gilbert Del Toro officiating. Joe was born in Olton, Texas on November 13, 1951 to Juan Domingo and Simona Luna. He soon moved to Tulia and spent most of his life here. He married Yolanda Luna on July 4, 1992 in Tulia, Texas. He worked for Swisher Tire for nine years. His hobbies were to wash cars, watch wrestling and listen to the Beatles. He loved to preach the word of God and his favorite bible verse was Psalm 23. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Ruben Luna and Juan Domingo Luna Jr. and two sisters; Bertha Luna and Angie Luna. He is survived by his wife; Yolanda Luna, one daughter; Diana Luna Rodriguez, two brothers; Samuel Luna and Isaac Luna, three sisters; Maria Lopez, Simona Carrasco and Teresa Luna and two grandchildren.
