Delfino DeLeon (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Delfino DeLeon, 84, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Plainview, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, March 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Delfino was born December 24, 1929 to Francisco and Manuela DeLeon. He worked and lived in Chicago and Pharr, Texas for several years before moving to Tulia in April 2013. He is survived by his wife; Estella DeLeon, two daughters; Elsa Nester of Indianapolis, Indiana and Maria Guadalupe Thompson of South Bend, Indiana, two sons; Delfino DeLeon, Jr. of Tampa, Florida and Gilberto DeLeon of South Bend, Indiana, one brother; Jose DeLeon of Oregon and one sister; Guadalupe DeLeon of Houston, Texas, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
