Heath Jared Lunsford (Plainview)

Heath “Buckey” Lunsford, 20, of Amherst passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Ross Black of Fellowship Christian Church in Sudan officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 18, 2008 in Roberts County Cemetery in Miami, Texas. Services are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Heath was born February 15, 1988 in Pampa, Texas. His family moved to Earth when he was seven years old. He attended schools there and played football as a freshman and he also showed livestock in the 4-H program. He was a farmer and a cowboy. He was a member of the Fellowship Christian Church in Sudan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.W. and Joyce Lunsford. He is survived by his Father, Jerry Lunsford of Amherst; his mother, Tania Lunsford of Lubbock; one sister, Haley Beth Lunsford and a brother-in-law David Phares of Earth; Maternal Grandparents; Roland Stevens of Dimmitt and Mary Hitt of Valley Mills, Texas; and great maternal grandmother, Ruby Reed of Clifton, Texas.
