James Goswick (Plainview)

James Goswick, 81, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joseph Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funerals Directors of Plainview. A family visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the funeral home. James was born June 1, 1932 to Hiram Jack & Ida Mae Goswick in Meridian, TX. He married Clara Irene Case on October 15, 1955. She preceded him death in 2004. He worked for the City of Plainview for 17 years. He owned and operated Pioneer Oil.  James was a 32nd degree Mason with Archie J. Keys Masonic Lodge #1395 and was a member of Scottish Rites. He is survived by his two daughters, Kristi Goswick of Lubbock, TX and Kathi Goswick Gonzalez and husband Paul of Lubbock, TX; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
