Tulia, Texas—Paul Lacey, 52, died Friday, April 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Paul was born on August 7, 1961 in Canyon to Ron and Madge Lacey. He grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1979. He worked for the City of Tulia for several years and was currently working for Mid-Plains Rural Telephone Company. He had also been a volunteer fireman for the Tulia Volunteer Fire Department. He is preceded in death by one brother: Mark Lacey and his grandparents: George and Naomi Protsman and Aubrey and Angeline Lacey. He is survived by his daughter: Kara Lacey of Tulia, his father: Ron Lacey of Tulia, his mother: Madge Steele of Tulia, two sisters: Joan Lacey of Tulia and Page Heisser and husband Tommy of Lubbock, two brothers: Dane Lacey and wife Kelsey of North Richland Hills and Todd Lacey and wife Julee of North Richland Hills and seven nieces and nephews: Angelina Lacey, Aidan Lacey, Abigail Heisser, Grace Heisser, Landree Lacey, Logan Lacey and Luke Lacey.
