Nelson B. Willborn (Plainview)

Nelson B. Willborn, 93, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Plainview. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. He was born December 8, 1914 in McCulloch County, Texas to James C.E. & Nancy Kelly Willborn. He married Hildy Lou Cade on November 20, 1934 in Belton, Texas. She preceded him in death in August of 1993. He is survived by three sons: Richard N. Willborn of Plainview, James H. Willborn of Lubbock and Harvey N. Willborn of Plainview; one sister: Margaret “Tillie” Pile of Brownwood; eight grandchildren: Richard M. Willborn of Lubbock, Eric R. Willborn of Dallas, Pamela S. Riggs of Naperville, Ill., Barney L. Willborn of Stratford, Keila D. Wesley of Tulia, J. Quint Willborn of Lubbock, Serena Hutchinson of Macon, GA and Shane Willborn of Plainview and nineteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death his wife Hildy Lou Willborn and one daughter, Velma Lee Willborn.
