Maria Gonzales (Plainview)

Maria Gonzales, 77, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Maria was born on November 29, 1936 to Antonio and Gregoria Gonzales in Rocksprings, TX. She married Hector Gonzales on August 16, 1959 in Rocksprings, TX. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gregoria Gonzales; and two brothers, Augustine & Eluterio Gonzales. Maria is survived by her husband, Hector B. Gonzales of Plainview; one daughter, Leticia Gonzales & husband  Leroy Favila of Plainview; two sons, Hector Gonzales, Jr. & wife Sharon of Euless, TX and Mario Gonzales & wife Cynthia of Cedar Hills, TX; five granddaughters and two great granddaughters; one sister, Benita Piper of Rocksprings, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
