Claudeen Wall (Plainview)

Claudeen Wall, age 80, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 2, 2008 in Plainview, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the First Baptist Church sanctuary with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Claudeen was born on May 2, 1928 in Lynn County, Texas to John N. and Lucille Marcy Moore. She married Hulon Wall on June 9, 1948 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2008. She graduated from Meadow High School in 1945. She moved to Plainview in 1966 and became active in the community and her church. Besides being a homemaker and raising her four children, she worked alongside her husband, Hulon, in the family businesses they owned and operated in Lubbock. She was a member of P.E.O. and First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons: Larry and Linda of Denison, Texas, Dickie and Cathy of Plainview, Bryan of Amarillo; one daughter: Avonna Kaye and Rick Milloway of Tulia; one sister: Mary Wells of Harlingen; Ten Grandchildren, Twenty-Seven Great Grandchildren, and Three Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hulon Wall; her parents, John N. and Lucille Marcy Moore; three brothers, JN Moore, George Moore and Raymond Moore and two sisters, Vergie Wisdom and Bessie Mae Cain. The family will receive friends and family on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
