Francisco Montelongo (Plainview)

Francisco Montelongo, 70, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Montelongo was born on June 4, 1943 to Florentino & Maria Montelongo. He married Maria de la Luz Machado on March 23, 1964. Mr. Montelongo was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Justina Montelongo . Mr. Montelongo is survived by his wife Marie Montelongo; one son: Francisco Montelongo, Jr. of Plainview; eight daughters: Maria Galaviz, Gloria Montelongo, Estella Zermeno, Lorena Gonzales, Angelica Montelongo, Dolores Montelongo, Biatris Montelongo and Micaela Maciel all of Plainview; one brother: Emilio Montelongo of Plainview; one sister: Paulina Rodriguez of Durango, Mexico; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
