She was the second of three children. Delores started school in Hart and high school in Plainview. Then finally settling down in Tulia where she graduated from High School in 1957. She married Matt Kell, Jr. on May 26, 1958. One year later Matt and Delores moved to Shiprock, NM, so Matt could work for the Government Helium Plant. They were blessed with a blue eyed blond headed boy on January 6, 1963, Eldon Kirk Kell. In 1968 the family moved to Keyes, OK then one month later they moved to Boise City where they lived for 16 years. They moved to Amarillo just before Matt retired. She worked as a cook in the school in Shiprock and Boise City. When she lived in Amarillo she worked for Homeland in the chicken department and the bakery till she retired and moved back to Boise City. Delores loved God and was a member of the Assembly of God church. She loved attending camp meeting, revivals, and of course a good church service. Matt and Delores would sing together in church. She loved talking about God and what he had done for her and her family. Her family was her second love. When Matt and Delores and Eldon would go somewhere they had matching shirts that she had sewed for them. Eldon and wife Brenda had three children, Abbigail Denette, Matthew Eldon and Cjae Luetta. Delores did her best to spoil those grandkids rotten. She would play ball and ride bikes with them. She loved to attend their activities. She was their #1 fan. She had set goals to live for. The first goal was to see Abbi graduate high school then college. Matthew getting his Eagle Scout and graduating from high school was the next goal she set. She loved getting to see Cjae cheer and play softball. Great Grandson, Mason Lane being born and getting to spend time with him was a big goal she was most proud of because she had said “Only the best Grandmas get promoted to Great Grandmas.” Delores got to hold her great grandson Mason Lane Schwindt right after he was born. She got to spend a lot of time with him the last three weeks of her life. She called everyone she could think of to brag that there was four generations in her family. Mason could perk her up by just being in the room. Delores married Frank Lynch on July 3, 2010. Delores left behind a legacy of Faith, Hope and Love. She always had a smile and a positive outlook on life. She used pink ribbons to help be a witness of her life.
