Ernie Saldana (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Ernie Saldana, 51, died Monday, June 30, 2014 in Tulia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Mr. Joe Frausto officiating, under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Ernie Saldana was born on March 28, 1963 in Tulia, Texas to Fabian Sr. and Alicia Saldana. He attended school at Tulia High School and graduated in 1982. He worked for the City of Tulia for seventeen and half years. His hobbies were fishing and playing pool with his friends and family and especially loved his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father: Fabian Saldana, Sr., one brother: Fabian Saldana, Jr. He is survived by his two daughters: Vanessa Saldana and husband Jerry of Dimmitt, Texas and Gabriella Saldana and husband Jose of Tulia, Texas, two brothers: Oscar and Edward Saldana of Tulia, Texas; five sisters: Cris Evans, Rose Mary Hernandez, Valerie Luna, Ana Martinez and Lesbia Saldana all from Tulia, and six grandchildren.
