James Henry (Jimmy" Bice (Tulia)

Tulia, TX - James Henry “Jimmy” Bice, 60 of Tulia, died on July 3, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Tulia, Texas with Rev. Jason Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A family visitation will be held from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Jimmy was born February 24, 1954 in Tulia, Texas to Odell & Laura Carolyn McMahan Bice. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1972. Jimmy married Shelia Sain on January 10, 1987 in Tulia. He owned and operated Bice & Sons Services which was started by his father in 1960. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Tulia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Odell & Laura Carolyn McMahan Bice; two brothers, Louis Bice and Larry Bice. He is survived by his wife: Shelia Bice; two daughters: Kristy Mote & husband Ronnie and Lori Bice & her fiancé Teddy Culwell all of Tulia; one brother: Johnny Bice of Odessa, TX; one sister: Lynda Robinson of Red Oak, TX and three grandchildren: Laura Mote, Cheyenne Mote and Creed Marshall Bice. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Jimmy Bice Love Fund at Citizens Bank in Tulia.
