Tulia, TX - Levenia Irene (Gayler) Doan, 90, of Amarillo, died July 15, 2014 in Amarillo, TX. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, TX with LaVon Thompson of Life of Praise Fellowship in Amarillo officiating. Graveside services are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia, TX Levenia was born September 24, 1923 in Tulia, Texas. She was married for 40 years to William (W.A.) Doan, who passed in 1983. She is the mother of Dale (Jeri), Millie (Paul), James and Paul (Zoe); grandmother of Shanna, Rhonda, Wes, Callie, Marci, David, Melissa and Patrick and great grandmother of 17. “Beana” was the ultimate caregiver, raising younger brother, John, after their parents’ death, and devoting her life to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. A devout Christian and long time member of the Life of Grace Fellowship Church, she is reunited in heaven with her sister, Mildred and brothers, John and Dan and smiling down on those left behind.
