Ruby Tanner Ogletree (Plainview)

Ruby Tanner Ogletree, 96, of Plainview, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Saturday, December 24, 2005. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Olgetree was born on September 21, 1909 in Athens, Texas to Lonnie and Frankie Tanner. She married Joe Ogletree February 2, 1928 in Olton. She and her husband owned and operated Joe’s Laundry on north Broadway from 1938 until her husband’s death in 1989. She is survived by one daughter Billie Ogletree King and her husband Lee of Lubbock; one sister Pat Brown and her husband Dell; one brother Bruce Tanner of McMinnville, Oregon; three grandsons; six great grandchildren.
