Gary Sorrenson(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Gary Sorrenson, 65, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 1, 2014 in the First Baptist Church of Tulia with Rev. Rusty Gray, pastor of Tulia Christian Fellowship officiating. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Gary was born on July 26, 1949 in Tulia. He grew up here and graduated Tulia High School. He then attended and graduated from Texas Tech. He was a farmer all his life until he retired and then he drove a truck. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ernest Ray and Fern Sorrenson. He is survived by three children: Janine Blakeborough and husband Russ of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Daniel Sorrenson of Ft. Worth and Haley Sorrenson of Tulia, one sister: Judy Hill of Tulia and three grandchildren: Ella, Connor and Damian. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association @ www.heart.org.
