Glen T. Rieff, 89, of Plainview, passed away at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with President Rex DeLong officiating. Interment will be in Spanish Fork Cemetery in Spanish Fork, Utah. Local arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mr. Rieff was born May 31, 1916 in Preston, Kansas to Garland Henry and Sylvia Woods Rieff. He married Lora Jones May 1, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Rieff worked for North American Aviation in California for 35 years. He was also a Realtor, Building Contractor, and a Farmer. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge in Lithopolis, Ohio for 50 years. He has lived in Plainview for the past 16 years. He is survived by his wife Lora Rieff of Plainview; two daughters Kathy Adams and husband Don of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Eileen Fowler and husband Bill of Oak Harbor, Washington; one brother Henry Rieff of Cotton Center; five sisters, Naomi Weathers of Plainview, Opal Barnes of Amarillo, Edith Sims of Plainview, Mildred Hammit of Hale Center, Rubby Teeter of Benton, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandsons. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors, and 9:30-10:15 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
