Maurice Ray Nobile (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Maurice Ray Nobile, 86, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Tulia. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with Monsignor Harold Waldo and Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Happy Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held at 6:30 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Mr. Nobile was born July 30, 1928 in Tulia, Texas to Marvin and Angelina Rossi Nobile. He lived in Tulia for 86 years. Mr. Nobile enjoyed being around family, helping around the family farm and he was the family historian. He enjoyed listening to old time country music and visiting with people. He attended the Church of the Holy Spirit and was always well loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Loyd Nobile and Lonnie Nobile; two sisters: Virginia Nobile and Frances Nobile Grossman; one niece: Joan Nobile Frost and one nephew David Nobile. Mr. Nobile is survived by his sister: Mary Nobile Norris of Tulia, TX; his nieces and nephews: Jerry Grossman of Canyon, TX; Leo Grossman and wife Robbie of Hart, TX; Jean Grossman of Canyon, TX; Sue Hildebrand and husband Alan of Georgetown, TX; Raymond Nobile and wife Jeriann of Amarillo, TX; Carol Nobile Crawford of Amarillo, TX; Karen Nobile Daniel and husband Russell of Richland, WA; Jimmy Nobile and wife Pama of Amarillo, TX; Zeke Frost and wife Susie of Happy, TX; Velaunda Nobile Keeter and husband Jerry of Amarillo, TX and several great nieces and nephews.
