Ramona Hernandez Moncado(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Ramona H. Moncado, 61, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 in San Angelo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Ramona was born August 31, 1953 in Edna, Texas to Angel and Jobita Hernandez, Sr., she graduated from Tulia High School in 1973. She was a consultant for Mary Kay and Avon. She worked also as a hairdresser. She loved music, dancing and doing yard work. She volunteered with RSVP. She is preceded in death by her former husband: Edward Moncado, her father: Angel Hernandez, Sr. and her brother: Julian Hernandez. She is survived by her mother: Jobita Hernandez of Tulia, four daughters: Irmalinda Barron of San Angelo, Monica H. Cuellar and of San Angelo, Esmeralda Moncado of Midland and Joanna Moncado of San Angelo, one brother: Angel Hernandez, Jr. of Tulia, four sisters: Ernestina Hernandez of Tulia, Sally Mendoza of Tulia, Mary Helen Hernandez of Tulia and Juanita Hernandez of Amarillo, one step-sister: Rebecca Chavez Perez of Mexico City, Mexico and eight grandchildren.
