Cruz A. Rodriguez (Plainview)

Cruz Rodriguez, 93, of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Cruz was born on September 14, 1921 to Pantalion & Juanita Almendarez in Segiun, TX. She married Rodrigo Rodriguez on February 7, 1955 in Lockney, TX. She lived to love, care and cook for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Julia Avalos, Santos Gonzales and Donaciano Almendarez. Cruz is survived by her husband, Rodrigo Rodriguez of Plainview; one daughter, Bertha Ramirez & husband Robert of Amarillo, TX; one son, Onofre Rodriguez & wife Linda of Plainview, TX; six grandchildren, Bobby Ramirez, Alicia Harrison & husband Mervin, Onofre Rodriguez, Jr. & wife Sandi, Leonard Rodriguez, Elisha Rodriguez and Elianna Rodriguez; and twelve great grandchildren.
