William Marshall (Plainview)

William “Bill” Marshall, 90, of Plainview, passed away at 8:37 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2005 at Covenant Medical Center of Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church with Mark Weiss, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Marshall was born on August 8, 1915 in Davilla, Texas to R. H. and Georgia Marshall. He married Frances Grant July 28, 1941 in Rogers, Texas. He was a mechanic and farmed in Rogers for several years before moving to Plainview in 1961 where he was a truck driver many years. He is survived by his wife Frances Marshall of Plainview; two daughters Gwen Bennett and husband Billy Mack of Edmonson, Debbie Ware and husband Michael of Spring; two sons Billy Ray Marshall and wife Kathy of Clarksville, Bobby Marshall and wife Sandy of Plainview; one brother Winston Marshall of Rogers; two sisters Edith Elienburger of Lubbock, Gladys Pugh of Knightstowns, Indiana; eight grandchildren; Ten great grandchildren.
