Alice Noel (Plainview)

Alice Noel, 87, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Alice Catholic Church with Father Jim McCartney officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 with a rosary to follow at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel. Alice was born on December 23, 1926 to Robert & Alice McIvor in Sydney Australia. She grew up and graduated from a catholic school there. She came to the states to visit her sister to help her with a newborn baby. Alice married Leonard Noel on April 17, 1948 in Plainview, TX. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister, Pat Noel. She is survived by two sons, Jeff Noel and Greg Noel both of Plainview, TX; two grandchildren, Misity Fisher of Midland, TX, and Rachael Waters of Fountain, CO; and three great grandchildren.
