Dora Alvarez (Plainview)

Dora Alvarez, 75, of Plainview, died on November 25, 2014 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. Friday, November 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Dora was born October 6, 1939 to Pedro & Francisca Campos. She married Jose Alvarez on June 6, 1957 in Donna. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2006. She was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Dora is survived by two daughters: Juanita Pacheco and Linda Perez; five sons: Jose Alvarez, Jr., Javier Alvarez, Roland Alvarez , John Alvarez and Armando Alvarez; one brother: Cesario Campos; fourteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
