Tulia, Texas—Marguerite Hall, 101, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Plainview. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Marguerite was born March 22, 1913 in Hale County, Texas to K.D. and Maggie Thomas. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. She married George T. Hall on September 23, 1938 in Amarillo. They moved to Tulia and farmed. She was the Educational Secretary at the First Baptist Church in Tulia where she was a member. She was also the Deputy Clerk for Swisher County. She is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters, her husband and one son Mike Hall. Her family includes one daughter: Susan Wyatt and husband Weldon of Plainview, one son: Don Hall and wife Diane of Tulia, two grandsons: Derek Hall and wife Niki of Garden City, Kansas and Duane Hall and wife Crystal of Bugbee Heights, Texas (near Borger) and two great grandchildren: Bradon Hall and Leanda Hall, both of Bugbee Heights, Texas.
