Bobby Bradley, 73, of Kress passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 8, 2014 in the Kress Cemetery with Mr. Oscar Chavez, Chaplain of Area Community Hospice officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Bobby was born on April 2, 1941 in Texola, Oklahoma to James and Chloe Bradley. He married Frances Bartram Morgan on January 19, 1991. He worked for over 25 years as a heavy equipment operator and foreman at Precinct 3 in Hale County. They moved to Kress in 1997. He loved the people of Kress especially his coffee buddies at Swisher County Gin. He also loved his shooting buddies. He was a member of the Windy Ridge Posse and SASS. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Roxey Williams. He is survived by his wife, Frances Bradley of the home; his children, Connye Crupe and husband Gary of Hale Center, Judy Mixon of Lubbock, Scott Bradley of Lamesa, Tim Williams of Wolfforth, Kym Casey and husband Tate of Wolfforth, Bret Bradley and wife Esther of Lubbock. He is also survived by a sister, Janie Smith of Floydada. His pride and joy were his11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers to Area Community Hospice or the Kress Cemetery Association. The family would also like to leave you with Bobby’s favorite scripture that he lived by. “He who guards his mouth and his tongue, guards his soul from troubles.” Proverbs 21:23
