Roger Dale Ritesman, Sr. (Plainview)

Roger Dale Ritesman, Sr., 59, of Plainview, peacefully passed away with his wife by his side on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Chaplain, Oscar Chavez officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Roger was born on February 14, 1955 to Clyde & Mary Ritesman in Plainview, TX. He married Sue Clark on October 31, 1981 in Plainview. He owned and operated Ritesman Quality Builders for 17 years. Roger enjoyed riding motorcycles but most of all loved and cherished the time he got to spend with his family. He was a member of Church of God and Elks Lodge. Roger is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Melba Ruth Wooley. He is survived by his wife, Sue of Plainview; two daughters, Vanessa Ritesman Bowels & husband Brad of Plainview, TX, and Lisa Reese & husband Jessie of Phoenix, AZ; one son, Roger Dale Ritesman, Jr. of Shallowater, TX; two brothers, Dennis Coble of Pampa, TX and Bobby Joe Coble of Fairfax, OK; two sisters, Marilyn “Katie” Adams of Texaco and Ivy Mae Beresford of Altus, OK; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
