Tommy D. Lamb, 62, passed away on January 18, 2006 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 21, 2006 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Delaine Rapp, pastor of Slaton Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Tommy was born on October 27, 1943 in Quanah, Texas and attended school there. He grew up on the farm working for his father. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1968 and served for 2 years. He then returned home to farm. He married Barbara Turner on Jan. 15, 1965 in Abernathy. They moved to Tulia in 1986 and he farmed for John Herring for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lamb of Tulia; two daughters, Cindy and John Paul Brewer of Sherman, Texas, Leigh and Deon Byrd of Tulia; a son, Butch and Kristi Lamb of Abilene; one brother, Bobby and Thresa Lamb of Tulia; and Nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wally Wayne Lamb and a sister, Linda Hope.
