Allen Lee Stallings (Plainview)

Allen Lee Stallings, 46, of Plainview passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Colonial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Foote officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kornerstone. Allen was born on November 28, 1968 in Lockney, Texas to Claude and Linda Stallings. He grew up in Lockney and attended schools there. He attended South Plains College and then went to Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelors in Ag Economics and his Masters in Plant Science. Allen was a crop consultant in the area for many years. He was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church. Allen married Carolyn Shugart on September 23, 2010. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Stallings of Plainview; father, Claude Stallings of Lockney; 2 step-children, Shelly Kile and husband Johnathan of Perryton and Heath Pinkerton and wife Mary Ann of Plainview; nieces and nephews that he considered his kids, Aaron Dietrich of Plainview, Jalee Victory of Plainview, Bethany Williams of Providence, Miranda Skinner of Canyon, Joseph Mack Allen Skinner of Canyon; 2 sisters, Lou Ann Skinner and husband Randy of Canyon, Jo Beth Dietrich and husband Michael of Providence; and seven grandchildren, Tanner Walker, Channing Perkins, Camryn Perkins, Cade Pinkerton, Brooklyn Kile, Kayden Kile, and Lilly Kile. Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Stallings. Memorials may be made to the Colonial Baptist Church, 910 Kokomo, Plainview, Texas 79072.
