Glen Bailey (Plainview)

Glen Bailey, 87, of Plainview, passed away on January 3, 2015 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 in the Kornerstone Chapel with Pastor Kim Bellows of United Assembly officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Glen was born on February 2, 1927 in Wirt, Oklahoma to James and Ada Bailey. He grew up in Matador and attended schools there. He was a farmer and a cotton ginner for many years in the area. He even ginned in California for several years. He was a member of the United Assembly of God Church in Plainview. He married Thelma on November 19, 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings. He is survived by his wife Thelma Bailey of Plainview; two daughters, Shirley LeFevre and husband Stan of Plainview, Reatha Marley of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 5 step-children, 16 step-grandchildren, 22 step-great grandchildren.
