WILLIAM ALBERT PAINTER, 98 - Services for William Albert Painter, 98,of Edmonson will be held 11:00 A.M.,Monday, January 12, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Edmonson, Texas with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Kornerstone. Mr. Painter died Friday, January 9, 2015. He was born January 17, 1916 in Spanish Fort, Texas to Izie Mary and William Arthur Painter.He married Mittie Lee Dykes on February 2, 1940 in the home Albert built in Edmonson. He was a farmer and served on the board of directors for Farmers Gin and Farmers Home Administration. He was a member of and helped build Edmonson Baptist Church and served as deacon and usher for 25 years. He is survived by 2 daughters; Sharon Threadgill of Ft. Worth, TX and Donna Ware and her husband Larry of Spring Hill, TN; 2 sons, Alton Painter and his wife Kathy of Edmonson and Brian Painter of Edmonson; 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife and a grandson, Jeremy Painter.
