Don Johnson(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Don Johnson, 70, died Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Don was born on December 8, 1944 in Tulia to F.A. and Nettie Johnson. He grew up in Tulia and graduated Tulia High School in 1963. He was a custom Hay Bailer all his life. He retired in 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Linda Sue Johnson, one brother: Larry Johnson and one granddaughter: Sarah Renee Johnson. His family includes one son: Justin Johnson and wife Christie of Tulia, one brother: Clyde Johnson and wife Marilyn of Happy, one sister-in-law: Vera Johnson of Tulia and six grandchildren: Matthew Johnson of Rawlins, Wyoming, Christopher Webb of Ft. Hood, TX, Kari Johnson of Tulia, Misty Rodgers of Tulia, Luke Rodgers of Tulia and Sophia Rodgers of Tulia.
