Terry Bruce Garrett (Plainview)

Terry Bruce Garrett, 46, was called to Heaven, January 18, 2015. Terry was born in Tulia, TX on December 23, 1968. He grew up in Kress, Texas where he graduated from Kress High School. He then went on to live in Germany, San Antonio and finally settled in the suburbs of Dallas. Terry was currently living in Little Elm, TX and working in Denton as Office Manager at the North Texas Sticker Station. Terry enjoyed spending time with his children. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help. Terry’s life long struggle with diabetes made him sensitive to others in need and pain. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Foster Garrett. He is survived by three children, Foster Cade, Hannah Braeden, Makenzie Rae of Lewisville, TX, his father and step-mother, Bruce and Barbara Garrett of Plainview, TX, sisters Penny Greenwood and her husband Cory of Little Elm, TX and Cynthia Royall and her husband Rebel of Garden City, TX, four nephews, one niece and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 23 @ 7 pm at Kornerstone Funeral Directors, 3605 SW 3rd Street, Plainview, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24 @ 2 pm at Calvary Baptist Church 1613 W 24th Street, Plainview, TX. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Terry Bruce Garrett Memorial Fund (Donations can be made at any BBVA Compass bank or mailed to BBVA Compass, 8860 FM 423, Frisco, TX 75034) or the American Diabetes Association.
