Helen Malone(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Helen Cowan Malone, 92, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Helen was born January 16, 1923 in Amarillo to Chester and Verdie Cowan. She grew up in Tulia and graduated Tulia High School. She married Louis Earl Malone in 1941. He died in 1980. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church in Tulia. She is survived by her daughter: Lougay Toles of Dallas, two sons: Larry Malone of Tulia and Johnny Malone of Amarillo, one grandson Scooter Toles of Austin, two brothers: Lynn Cowan and Joe Cowan, both of Tulia and one sister: Gloria Kessinger of Colorado Springs, CO.
