Tulia, Texas—Donald Edwards, 93, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 20, 2015 in the Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Eddy Helms officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Donald was born October 23, 1921 in Swisher County to Howard Jackson and Mabel Edwards. He was a lifelong resident of Swisher County and was a lifelong farmer. He married Louise Cook on July 8, 1944 in Plainview. She died February 6, 1981. He joined the US Army. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He married JoAnn “Jody” Teafatiller in March 1985. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, one sister: Helen Chancy and three brothers: Jess, Charles and Jack Edwards. She is survived by his wife: Jody Edwards of Tulia, one son: Tony Edwards and wife Sharon of Amarillo, one Daughter: Donna Starnes and husband Gary of Pampa, Jody’s children: Barry Teafatiller and wife Wanda of Littlefield, Kerry (Button) Teafatiller and wife Jenny of Edmonson, Benny Teafatiller and wife Michelle of Amarillo and Karen Howard of Amarillo, Three Sisters: Dorothy Morrow of Austin, Betty Massey of Amarillo and Phyllis Squyres of Amarillo, twelve grandchildren: John Starnes of Justin, TX, Josh Starnes of Houston, Daniel Edwards of Lubbock, Clint Edwards of Amarillo, Becky James of Katy, TaynaTeafatiller, Tye Teafatiller and Devin Teafatiller all of Amarillo, Jada Teafatiller of Amarillo and Colby Teafatiller of Colorado, Aaron Teafatiller and Tanner Teafatiller both of Lubbock and thirteen great grandchildren.
