Margarete Boston(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Margarete Boston, 91, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Margarete was born March 23, 1923 in Lockney to Lindsey Robert and Reba Ellen Bowers. She moved to Tulia in 1926 where she grew up and attended Tulia Schools. She married Henry Boston on August 28, 1949 in Tulia. She worked for Heard & Jones Drug Store, she volunteered several years with Good Shepherd Christian Outreach, she was an active member of First Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son; Charles Boston. Her family includes two daughters: Sue Gibson and husband Lonnie of Lubbock, Debbie Cypert and husband Larry of Amarillo, one son: Fred Boston and wife Vivian of San Angelo, one brother: Robert Bowers of Temple, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
