Geneva Jo McCaslin

Tulia, Texas—Geneva Jo McCaslin, 82, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Ewing officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held at 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, February 27, 2015 at the funeral home chapel. Jo was born March 12, 1932 in Paluxy, Texas to Edd and Novella Daniel. She married Glenn D. McCaslin on August 8, 1949. She was a homemaker. She loved to crochet and knit. She was an excellent seamstress. Jo was a member of the Red Hat Society in Tulia. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Glenn D. McCaslin of Tulia, four sons: Eddie McCaslin of Tulia, Gene McCaslin and wife Claudia of Canyon, Teddy McCaslin of Tulia and Jimmy McCaslin and wife Jan of Tulia, one brother: Charles “Buddy” Daniel of Mexia, twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
