H. Gordon Patton (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Howard Gordon Patton, 87, died Thursday, March 12, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, Texas with Mr. Howard Patton officiating. Funeral services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Howard was born on June 18, 1927 in Matador, TX to M.A. and Fay Ola Patton. He attended Plainview High School until he was drafted into the Army. He was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War. After his service he returned home to help on the family farm in Kress, TX. He took care of both his parents and his brother while he was living at the farm. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his brother; Kenneth Patton; two nephews, Sherrol Patton and Howard Patton; three nieces, Dianna Foster, Perri Harper and Jaime Bird Taylor; and many great nieces and nephews.
