Glen Smith (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Glen Smith, 70, died Monday, April 13, 2015 in Tulia. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm at the church. Glen was born September 18, 1944 in Levelland to Henry and Ida Bell Smith. He attended schools in Anton. He lived most f his life in this area. He married Sandra Huseman on June 17, 1967 in Lubbock. He worked for the City of Tulia as a garbage truck driver. He attended the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joe Dee Smith. He is survived by his wife: Sandra Smith of Tulia, one daughter: Nita Segura of Galveston, two sons: Tim Smith of Tulia and Mike Smith of Tulia, two brothers: Joe Walker of Lubbock and Terry Smith of Arkansas, three sisters: Jane Ebeling of Plainview, Vickie Shackelford of Amarillo and Louise Helms of Borger and five grandchildren: Matt Smith of Lubbock, Stephen Segura of New Jersey, Brian Smith of Tulia, Haley Smith of Tulia and Scott Segura of Galveston.
