Harold Dean Hopson, 73, of Hale Center, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008, in Plainview, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 2008 in Killeen City Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hopson was born January 8, 1935 in Killeen, Texas. Survivors include four daughters: Keri Davila of Killeen, Glenna Butler and husband Kim of Plainview, LaDeanna Hopson of Plainview and JoBetsy Morphis and husband Todd of Sanger; two brothers: Bill Hopson and wife Nelda of Killeen and Bob Hopson and wife JoAnn of Killeen; two sisters: Frances Cannon and husband Don of Austin and Beth Spalding and husband Benny of Killeen; grandchildren: Paul Davila, Rebecca Huddleston, Jimmy Huddleston, Keegan Butler, Craig Gaither, Tesha Gaither, Zachary McPherson, Jennifer McPherson, Clay Morphis, Tiffany Giles and Tori Morphis .
