Zula Mae Carlton (Plainview)

Zula Mae (Wyatt) Carlton, 94, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on April 24, 2015. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, TX. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. She was born October 4, 1920 in Olustee, OK to Noah and Mary Elizabeth Wyatt. She graduated from high school in Melrose, NM. On November 24, 1948 she married Wilburn Carlton and moved to Friona, TX. She began her career with Southwestern Public Service, transferring to Plainview, TX until her retirement in 1985. She was a long time member of College Heights Baptist Church. Zula was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn, her parents, seven brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her sister Daisy Crowley and numerous nieces and nephews.
