Billie Pearson(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas Billie Pearson, 81, died Friday, May 1, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 9:45 am Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Happy Cemetery. A memorial service will follow AT 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church in Tulia with Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home in Tulia. Billie was born on June 14, 1933 in Brownfield to Bill and Vera Eubanks. She grew up in Brownfield and they moved to Happy as a teenager. She graduated from Happy High School. She married Wayne Pearson on August 27, 1950 in Happy. She was a homemaker until her boys were grown then she sold life insurance for over 15 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: Greg and Karron Pearson of Midland, Bill and Terri Pearson of Happy, Chris and Pam Pearson of Amarillo and Eddie Joe and Lynn Pearson of Happy, one sister: Vivian Woods of Happy, 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Happy Volunteer Fire Department or to the Senior Citizens of Tulia.
