Tulia, Texas—Glenda Taylor, 70, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in the Central Church of Christ with Mr. Bob Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Glenda was born on July 3, 1944 in Plainview to Sam and Pauline Dickens. She grew up in Tulia and graduated Tulia High School. She attended Cosmetology School in Lubbock. She married Robert Taylor. She was a Personnel Administrative Specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs working in Loma Linda, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, Colorado Springs, CO and Amarillo, TX. She retired in the early 2000”s. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Pauline Nelson and Tina Dunn and one brother: Roy Dean Dickens. She is survived by her husband: Robert Taylor of Yuma, AZ, two sons: Chris Taylor of Lubbock and Jeff Taylor of Yuma, AZ, two brothers: Jim Dickens of Lubbock and Jerry Dickens of Huntsville and several nieces and nephews.
