Maria Del Carmen Lucio (Plainview)

Maria Del Carmen Lucio, 72, of Plainview, passed away on May 19, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Kornerstone Funeral Chapel. Maria was born on February 23, 1943 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Encarnacion and Ricarda Chavez. She was a homemaker and a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Maria married Joaquin Lucio, Sr. on October 6, 1962 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; two children, Joaquin & Bertha; and sister, Sara. She is survived by her husband, Joaquin Lucio, Sr.; five sons, Gerardo Lucio, Arturo Lucio, Joaquin, Jr. Lucio, Efren Lucio & Jesse Lucio; four daughters, Irma Lucio, Teresa Salinas, Bertha Mireles and Esperanza Ramirez; twenty eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; nine brothers, Ruben, Everino, Jesus, Pablo, Pedro, Javier, Gerardo, Roberto & Pancho; two sisters, Amparo & Maria.
