Delia Valdez Cabello (Plainview)

Delia Valdez Cabello, 77, died on Thursday May 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cabello was born on April 1, 1938 in San Angelo, Texas to Jesus & Nina Valdez. She married Paulo Cabello on January 14, 1956 in Quitaque. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1986. Mrs. Cabello was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served as a Communion Minister, a Cursillista and a Guadalupana. She is survived by one son: Paul Cabello & wife Susan of Plainview; one daughter: Josie Sanchez & husband David of Frisco; two brothers: Albert Valdez of Turkey and Charlie Valdez of Minnesota; two sisters: Willie Ramirez of Silverton and Mary Adame of Plainview; one son-in-law: Monty LeMaire & wife Christy of Frisco; 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.
