Linda Guerra (Plainview)

Linda Guerra, 69, died on Friday May 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Guerra was born on June 20, 1945 in Robstown, Texas to Eduardo & Concepcion Maldonado. She married Benito “Ben” Guerra on April 20, 1969 in Kress. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2012. Mrs. Guerra was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by one son: Dion Guerra & wife Kendra of Plainview; one daughter: Corrina Scott & husband Josh of Bonham; three brothers: Oscar Maldonado & wife Monna of Amarillo, Joe Maldonado & wife Hope of Kress and Peter Maldonado & wife Amelia of Round Rock; two sisters: Nena Cabrera & husband Antonio of Kress and Bertha Garza & husband Ernest of Hereford; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister. Memorials may be made to Area Community Hospice, 4300 Olton Rd., Plainview, Texas 79072.
