Eleazar Subealdea (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Eleazar Subealdea, 85, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 5, 2015 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Marco Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 6:30 pm at the funeral home chapel. Eleazar was born on January 27, 1930 in Cloete, Coahuila, Mexico to Francisco and Tita Subealdea. He grew up in Mexico. He married Consuelo Sifuentes in 1951. He worked for different Cotton Compresses. They moved to Tulia in 1967 where he worked for North Plains Compress and later Taylor-Evans Seed Co. where he retired. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and three sisters: Ernestina Subealdea, Eva Cisneros and Sara Cisneros. He is survived by two daughters: Norma Cruz of Midland and Maria Elena Gomez of Tulia, six sons: Jaime Subealdea of Tulia, Eleazar Subealdea, Jr. of Plainview, Eloy Subealdea of Tulia, Frank Subealdea of Dalhart, Baldemar Subealdea of Midland and Eddie Subealdea of Tulia, 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.
