Tulia, Texas—Alma Inette Johnson, 76, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the First United Methodist church with Rev. Karen Young, pastor officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Inette was born on December 11, 1938 in Silverton to Daniel Georn and Eula Frances Shelton. She grew up in Silverton and graduated from Tulia High School. She lived in Tulia and married Autry Lee Johnson on April 16, 1960 in Silverton. She worked for the Sears Catalog Store in Tulia and was also worked on the farm alongside her husband. She was a member of the First United Methodist church in Tulia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Idaskell, Dan, Edd and Paul Shelton, a great grandson: Brandt Ables and two sisters-in-Law: Beverly Shelton and Barbara Shelton. She is survived by her daughters: Vickie Norrell and husband Gerry of Floydada, Pattie Urbanczyk and husband Bryan of Hereford, her son: Russell Johnson and wife Misty of Plainview, her brothers: Joe Shelton of Silver City, NM, Calvin Shelton and wife Carolyn of Silverton, her sisters: Virginia Thornton and husband J of Tulia and Martha McJimsey and husband George of Tucson, AZ and grandchildren: Ashley and Sean Ables of Idalou, Morgan and Tanner Martin of Roscoe, Madison Urbanczyk and Brodie Boren of Hereford, Kelton Skinner of Oklahoma and Sterling Skinner of Plainview.
