Maylene Mickey (Plainview)

Maylene Mickey, 87, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 26, 2009 at Garland Street Church of Christ with Tony Dominguez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. She was born on September 16, 1921 in Abernathy, Texas to Jack and Jeraldine Parish. She married Forrest Mickey in March of 1939 in Clovis, N.M. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1999. Mrs. Mickey was a member of the Plainview Art Association and Garland Street Church of Christ Survivors include one daughter: Kim M. Hall and husband Roger of Las Cruces, New Mexico; one son: Jerry Mickey and wife Betty of Rockport, Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
