Latysa Ann Davis(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Latysa Ann Davis, 36, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Jackson Chapel with Pastor Donnie Lane and Rev. David Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia Latysa was born September 13, 1978 in Tulia, Texas to Derrick Brown and Patricia Davis. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1997. Latysa worked as a CNA in Amarillo for many years at Nurses Prescription Medicine and also worked for the special needs. She worked for the Independent School District of Amarillo for two years. Latysa was a caregiver who enjoyed helping others and most of all the great love she had for her children. She is preceded in death by her step father: Noris Davison. Her family includes her three children: Shantasha Davis, Shantera Davis and Jaden Savage ,her mother: Patricia Davis, two sisters: Doloris Davis and Isaiah Davison , one brother: Noris Davison and, her grandmother: Tressie Jackson, her great grandmother: Edna Thomas, her aunts and uncles: Vincent Degruy and wife Linda, Linda Releford, Anthony Davis and wife Ann, Clifford Jackson and wife La Tonya, Jonathan Shaffer and wife Sharon, Joe Lee and wife Janice and Vernen Vaughn and wife Vickey, her special friend: Freddie Savage.
