Earlette Anderson (Plainview)

Earlette Grundy Anderson, 79, passed away on Sunday July 26, 2015 in her home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 3 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Interim Hospice Chaplain Dr. Donovan Martin officiating. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Earlette was born on May 28, 1936 in Quitaque, TX to Bert and Louise Grundy. She graduated from Quitaque High School in 1954 and started attending West Texas College that same year. She graduated from West Texas College in 1959 with a Bachelors of Science in Social Studies. She taught 3rd grade for one year in Silverton, Texas. She moved to Kansas City, KS where she worked at AT&T. She later married Franklin Lee (Andy) Anderson in 1962. They moved to Odessa, TX in 1963 and lived there for three years before moving to Plainview in 1966. She worked at Energas as a General Customer Rep for more than 30 years. She is survived by her two sons; Jackie Dean Anderson of Plainview; Kenneth Dale Anderson and his wife Shea of Plainview, TX; four sisters; Aubery Lou Slayton of Plainview, Adell Winston of Kirkland, WA, Sue Shannon and husband Doyle of Roaring Springs, TX and Jerry Beth Tyler of Plainview, TX; her five grandchildren; Brittini, Candace, Krystal, Mikayla and Jayden; five great grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Lee (Andy) Anderson; her parents, Bert and Louise Grundy; her brother Dale Grundy and her grandparents. The family would like memorials to be sent to the American Cancer Society at 3511 10th St Lubbock, Texas 79415.
