Sara Rodriguez (Plainview)

Sara Rodriguez, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Kress Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Rodriguez was born on August 4, 1929 to Catarino & Delores Almazan in Del Rio, TX. She married Israel Rodriguez on November 21, 1949. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2012. She is survived by three daughters: San Juanita Leija of Kress, Esther Berner of San Antonio and Estella Chambers of Amarillo; three sons: Orlando Rodriguez, Israel Rodriguez, Jr. and Ismael Rodriguez all of Amarillo; thirteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.
